Hi friends! Last time we were talking about success and creating results. The journey to creating results can seem so smooth until a pit fall comes your way. A pit fall is something that must change in you first in order to move forward and create the life you truly desire. Lets take a look and see which one of these pit falls best describes you and how you will overcome it.
The first pit fall is false pride and ego. False pride and ego is over-estimating and compensating your abilities. When you size up your competition to match their credentials, when you obsess to be better than everyone else and strive to achieve results, when the results and success that you have aren’t good enough, when you think you are already better than everyone else and don’t need any more skills and training because you already know it; these are all classic signs of false pride and ego. Just remember one thing, pride always comes before a fall.
Picking up from where we left off last blog post (for those that have not read the previous post, please be sure to go back and read so that you may follow along)…let me tell you a little something about worry. Worry is another word for Anxiety. Anxiety is excessive concern in something that brings on an emotional state. It can also come in the form of reasoning or continuously defending, justifying actions. Reasoning can be always trying to figure out something, always wanting to fix personal situations of self or others. When we operate in these things it can bring on confusion. When we are confused, we can experience a loss of clarity which in turn makes us vulnerable and highly susceptible to manipulation and deception.
What we say holds truth and power. Our mouths are a portal that opens the doors of things to come whether positive or negative. Even the images of what we watch and listen to from others has tremendous bearing. We don’t always think about what we watch on the television or what we listen to on the radio, next thing we know our mind is printed with images and words that we repeated and heard. What we say and do now truly counts as mentioned in my posting earlier this week. What we speak either works for us or against us. We could innocently say something we are not thinking or meaning to attract. This also goes for words spoken over others. Remember what you confess is enough to free a person or to interlock both of you into bondage. If you are believing for yourself or someone you know to be freed from bondage and negativity…it is important to not only forgive you and them and to also seek forgiveness from them, but also guard your heart and mind of images and thoughts that might separate you from the blood of Christ.
