Hi friends! Last time we were talking about success and creating results. The journey to creating results can seem so smooth until a pit fall comes your way. A pit fall is something that must change in you first in order to move forward and create the life you truly desire. Lets take a look and see which one of these pit falls best describes you and how you will overcome it.
The first pit fall is false pride and ego. False pride and ego is over-estimating and compensating your abilities. When you size up your competition to match their credentials, when you obsess to be better than everyone else and strive to achieve results, when the results and success that you have aren’t good enough, when you think you are already better than everyone else and don’t need any more skills and training because you already know it; these are all classic signs of false pride and ego. Just remember one thing, pride always comes before a fall.
Keep in mind that not everyone is meant to be in your personal circle and sphere of influence. Keep in mind that not everyone can go where you are going. There will always be people that are in support of you, but then there are also people who will pretend to be and people who are not. This is why it is important to be careful with who you open yourself up to, who you allow in your inner circle, and who you allow to hold you accountable. Make sure that the people you let in have wisdom, knowledge, and results in these areas that you are seeking advice from.
Last post I was discussing with you the banquet I recently had attended in which our head pastor had a shared a very important video with us reminding us of why it is we serve in the church.
In this video shared were just a few testimonials of members who had moved to Florida and began attending a brand new church on faith. Some of these members were young and others were old. I could not help, but be touched by how they went from nothing, lacking vision, in despair, without hope to having vision, dreams, and purpose again. Each shared one common denominator, ‘whatever you do, there is a person out there who needs your help, don’t give up.’ Such a simple, yet powerful sentence.
Continuing from our last post regarding Autism awareness, we here at Tara Cherie want to share with you information regarding the causes of Autism Spectrum and what we are doing to help our daughter and others to overcome.
The Causes of Autism:
Autism is becoming more and more common and though it is not fully understood what completely causes it, though there are theories as to why this is, a huge component is environment and genetics. It is my understanding and belief that elder generations may not per se be full-blown ‘Autistic’, but may fall on the ‘spectrum’ if tested and may not realize they have it because they have not either been tested themselves, misdiagnosed, or previously evaluated, but not enough diagnostic measures were taken or there was not the criteria met to confirm the individual falling on the ‘spectrum’.
