Need a reality check of what too much work can do….
Too many hours at work and feeling that there is never enough hours leads to anxiety and stress. Stress leads to burn out. Burn out leads to nervous break downs, heart problems, strokes, heart attacks, self-loathing, resentment, rejection, bitterness, an unloving feeling towards self and others, perfectionism, idolatry, etc. Chemically speaking, your hormones can become improperly balanced. The chemicals that make you happy and calm such as Melatonin and Serotonin go down as Cortisol increases and causes negative emotions and reactions to things that would not otherwise normally bother nor effect you in such a way.

1) Invest into yourself by purchasing a planner. Planners can be found at almost any store, including the dollar store. You don’t have to get the fanciest one, just one that you can take simple notes in and write your appointments down with. Planner can be 8.5×11 or a small planner that you keep in your purse or briefcase.
I was thinking about each of you today as I drank my morning cup of tea; especially on my heart were parents of infant through school age children. The mornings can be really tough and brutal for some parents. Sometimes it can almost seem as a physical obstacle just to get through the basic routine and to work on time. Sometimes as parents we just need a few added minutes to the day to ensure all gets done. What you wouldn’t do for an extra 15-20 minutes added to your morning!!!
