When You….Extend Grace

For all of you amazing friends today…just a reminder….

When you wake up on the wrong side of the bed….
When your schedule does not go as you planned it…
When your order is out of order…
When you cannot find the shirt you want to wear and you were positive you washed it….
When you lock your keys in the car….

When you spill your coffee all over your favorite blouse…
When your boss asks you for the report and you see last night’s dinner on it…
When you are late for the staff meeting and your boss feeds you a stare…
When you realize the kids have a half day and you forgot to plan and coordinate ride sharing…

When you run out of your favorite makeup and you knew you should have bought some this last time when you were at the store…
When you get home and you find the dog went to the restroom in the house…
When you forgot to turn on the crockpot for tonight’s dinner…
When your child tells you they have a project they want you to help them with it the night before it’s due…

Remember to breathe…inhale, exhale, inhale, exhale…continue to do this until your body is at homeostasis and filled with peace.

IF….

All else fails….

Extend grace to yourself and others today. Have mercy and compassion. Be willing to let these things go, they do not define who you are and where you are going. Once you let go…

LAUGH!!!!

Laughter is the best medicine. When you laugh, it makes everything better, including the relationships around you. Laughter not only creates peace and harmony, but also brings a level of joy back to your life. The best part is that tomorrow, you have the chance and opportunity to have a redo of your day! Hopefully it will go much better! For now, love on yourself, love where you are at in the moment, and be willing to embrace the things that went right!!! Even if 10 things went wrong for every 1 thing that went right, at least something went right and it’s worth celebrating! Small baby steps lead to victory!!! You are on a journey, a one step at a time kind of journey. Enjoy life while you can, you live once. There is no sense in beating yourself up continuously or crying over spilled milk. Just know you are worthy and worth extending love to yourself and to others. Until next time…
